HAMAH Celebrates 28 years!
The Hispanic American Medial Association of Houston is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by a group of Hispanic physicians from Houston, who wanted to form an organization that would integrate physicians of Hispanic origin. The two main goals visualized were: to become an association that would look after the needs of Hispanic doctors, as well as becoming a source of better care for the Hispanic community. The founders also established a scholarship program for students of Hispanic origin to support their medical education. With over 28 years since it’s foundation, H.A.M.A.H continues to grow and hopes to assist the Hispanic community in the best possible way.
